Product introduction

L-shaped bolts, also known as anchor bolts or hook bolts, have a unique shape. One end is a standard threaded rod, and the other end is bent into a 90-degree right-angled L shape. This design allows it to be cleverly "hooked" or "anchored" into the base material. During installation, its L-shaped long end is pre-embedded in a foundation such as concrete, or passed through a prefabricated hole and then rotated 90 degrees and stuck. Once the concrete has set, the exposed portion of the threaded rod can be used to secure equipment, structural columns or guardrail posts. The hook structure and concrete generate strong mechanical interlocking force, which can effectively resist huge pull-out force, shear force and vibration, and prevent equipment from shifting or overturning. It is widely used in key areas such as power tower foundations, heavy equipment installation, steel structure anchoring and highway guardrails. It is the core anchor to achieve permanent and high-strength connection between heavy components and foundations.

Product Features

1. Excellent anti-pull and anti-vibration performance: Its core feature lies in the strong mechanical interlocking force formed by the L-shaped hook and the concrete foundation. This hooking effect can effectively resist huge upward pull-out force, horizontal shear force and continuous vibration, preventing the fixed equipment or structure from shifting or overturning, ensuring the absolute safety and reliability of the connection.

2. Permanent high-strength anchorage: designed for permanent or semi-permanent installation. Once embedded in concrete and solidified, it is integrated with the foundation to form an extremely stable anchor point with a load-bearing capacity much higher than that of ordinary expansion bolts, making it especially suitable for the fixation of heavy-duty, critical structures.

3. Easy installation and reliable pre-embedding: The installation process is simple: before concrete is poured, it is pre-fixed on the formwork to expose the threaded part. Once poured, it becomes part of the foundation. This pre-embedded method avoids the trouble of drilling holes later and potential weakening of the basic structure, and is extremely reliable.

4. Sturdy and durable, flexible in application: usually made of high-strength carbon steel, the surface is often treated with anti-corrosion treatments such as hot-dip galvanizing to cope with harsh outdoor or humid environments. It has a simple structure and various specifications, which can meet various anchoring needs from large power tower foundations to small equipment foundations.

Product application

1. Industrial equipment: used to fix large stamping machines, injection molding machines, machine tools, wind power tower bases, etc., to resist the huge overturning moment and vibration generated during the operation of the equipment.

2. Production line foundation: Anchor the frames and brackets of automated production lines, heavy conveyor belts and other equipment.

3. Steel structure column feet: used to firmly connect steel columns and structural columns (such as pillars in factories and gymnasiums) to the concrete foundation. They are the key stress-bearing nodes of steel structure buildings.

4. Tower mast structure: It is widely used in the anchorage of power towers, communication signal towers, and wind turbine foundations to withstand lateral forces such as wind loads.

5. Highway traffic safety facilities: Firmly install the columns of anti-collision guardrails and isolation fences to ensure that they will not break away from the foundation when impacted.

6. Municipal facilities: used to fix transformer foundations, light poles, sign poles, etc.

Product advantages

1. Excellent anti-pull and anti-vibration properties

2.Permanent high-strength anchoring

3. Easy installation and high reliability

4. Sturdy, durable, economical and practical

FAQ

Q1: What should be the embedded depth of L-shaped bolts?

A1: The embedded depth is a key stress parameter and has no fixed value. It depends on the bolt diameter, material, and design load (tension, shear). It must be determined based on the drawings or calculations provided by the structural engineer. Usually the burial depth is more than 25 times the diameter of the bolt to ensure sufficient anchoring force.

Q2: Can it be used for later reinforcement or renovation projects?

A2: Not suitable. L-shaped bolts are typical embedded parts that must be placed and accurately positioned before concrete is poured. For later reinforcement, priority should be given to rear anchoring solutions such as rear expansion anchors or chemical anchors.

Q3: Does the threaded part need to be protected during installation?

A3: Must be protected. Before pouring concrete, use protective tape or a special plastic protective cap to wrap the exposed threaded parts to prevent cement slurry from contaminating the threads. Otherwise, the nuts will not be installed smoothly later, seriously affecting the construction progress and quality.
