Product Description

Product introduction

This is a customized non-standard screw designed for special working conditions. This product breaks through the limitations of standard parts and uses a high-quality brass base with nickel plating on the surface, which has excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance.

As non-standard screws, we can fully customize the head thickness, tooth shape and rod length, and can accurately process various special-shaped screws, such as special-shaped hexagonal heads, non-standard fine teeth and combined structures. Products are widely used in the fields of precision electronics and high-end instruments. We support customization based on drawings and samples. We strictly follow the ISO quality control system to ensure that every non-standard part meets stringent assembly requirements.

Product design and features

We produce not only fasteners, but also precision components. The core of this product lies in the properties of its non-standard screws, which completely break through the size restrictions of the national standard (GB), German standard (DIN) or American standard (ANSI).

Head geometry customization: Although the appearance is hexagonal, we can make non-standard adjustments to the head height, width across sides, and thickness of the brim. Whether it's an ultra-thin head (for space-constrained scenarios) or a taller head (for easier force absorption), we can make it happen.

Flexible tooth types: In addition to standard metric coarse and fine threads, we support various special-shaped screw thread designs, such as non-standard serrated locking threads, ultra-fine threads (for precision instruments), unequal pitch threads, etc., to meet special anti-loosening or adjustment needs.

Optimization of rod structure: According to assembly requirements, the rod can be designed as a threadless gap rod, an extended guide head, a groove or a knurled part to ensure a perfect fit in non-standard thickness plates or special-shaped connectors.

Nickel plating process: The surface nickel plating layer not only provides a beautiful luster, but also enhances the wear resistance and anti-discoloration ability of the brass matrix, while maintaining the excellent electrical conductivity of brass.

Materials and application fields

Base material advantages: Made of high-quality H59/H62 brass. Brass itself has excellent machinability and can accurately process complex and special-shaped screw details (such as tiny hexagonal holes or special-shaped grooves). It is non-magnetic and has good anti-explosion properties.

Coating performance: The nickel layer on the surface is dense and uniform, and the salt spray test time is much longer than that of ordinary galvanized parts. It is suitable for humid, slightly corrosive environments and electrical interfaces that require frequent plugging and unplugging.

Application areas

Electronic and electrical: Suitable for high-current terminals, grounding posts, and transformer skeletons, utilizing the conductivity of brass and the oxidation resistance of nickel plating.

Precision instruments: used in optical equipment and measuring tools, because the precise size of non-standard screws can ensure the adjustment accuracy of the instrument.

High-end decoration: Combining the texture of brass and the luster of nickel plating, it is used for special connections on high-end furniture, ship hardware and vintage crafts.

Quality control and certification system

Source control: We perform spectral analysis on each batch of brass raw materials to ensure that the chemical composition meets the standards and eliminate the risk of breakage caused by inferior brass (containing excessive amounts of lead or many impurities).

Process inspection: During the cold heading or CNC turning process, a full-size detector is used to monitor the key dimensions of special-shaped screws, especially to strictly control parameters that are difficult to measure such as the asan angle and the verticality of the opposite sides.

Performance test: For customized non-standard screws, we simulate actual working conditions to conduct torque tests and coating bonding strength tests to ensure that the products will not slip or have coatings fall off during the locking process.

Certification system: The factory strictly implements the ISO 9001 quality management system, and the products comply with the requirements of the RoHS environmental directive (no harmful substances such as hexavalent chromium). Material certification reports and environmental testing reports can be provided.

Customized services

Customized drawings: Customers provide drawings (PDF/DWG format), we restore them 1:1, and provide processing suggestions based on the characteristics of brass materials (such as chamfer optimization).

Reverse proofing: For special-shaped screws that only have samples and no drawings, we obtain three-dimensional data through a high-precision scanner, perform reverse engineering and proofing.

Parametric customization

Size range: diameter M2-M20, length 2mm-200mm (can also be negotiated beyond this range).

Head shape: non-standard countersunk head angle (such as non-90°), non-standard cross groove depth, and non-standard hexagonal dimensions.

Packaging: Anti-static bag packaging, counting packaging or custom labels available on request.

FAQ

Q: Why do I have to use nickel-plated brass non-standard screws? Can't I use stainless steel instead?

A: In some equipment with extremely high conductivity requirements or a non-magnetic environment (such as MRI equipment, precision sensors), stainless steel does not have the conductivity of brass and may have weak magnetism. Our customized non-standard screws can ensure electrical conductivity while solving the pain point of brass being easily oxidized and discolored through nickel plating.

Q: If the screw I want is a special shape, such as a one-piece structure with a washer under the hexagon (non-standard assembly), can you do it?

A: Of course. This belongs to the typical special-shaped screw processing category. We can use a multi-station cold heading machine to form the hexagonal head in one step, or use CNC turning and secondary processing to integrate the hexagonal head with the flange surface or gasket structure, which is stronger and stronger than the combined gasket.

Q: What is the minimum order quantity for customization? How to calculate the proofing fee?

A: For customized non-standard screws, our MOQ is very flexible. Sample orders usually accept a minimum order of 50-100 pieces, mainly for verification of size. For mass production, the MOQ is agreed upon based on the complexity and diameter of the product. The proofing fee is usually refunded in full on subsequent bulk orders.

Q: How can I ensure that the processed non-standard screws are exactly the same as the drawings I provided?

A: We will make a FAI (First Article Inspection Report) after confirming the drawings. Before mass production, we will send you the full-size inspection report of the first product for confirmation. Only after you sign and confirm, we will proceed with subsequent mass production to ensure that every non-standard screw meets your design requirements.
