Colored Zinc Plated Carriage Bolts – Custom Non-Standard Fasteners
Colored paint carriage screws are high-performance custom non-standard fasteners designed to solve common pain points of standard bolts, such as difficult installation, easy loosening, and rough appearance, especially for one-side locking working conditions. They break the design of traditional standard parts, adopting a round or mushroom head with a square neck underneath, which combines practicality, aesthetics and installation convenience perfectly.
The square neck is the core anti-rotation structure: when installed, it embeds into pre-slotted holes of workpieces, preventing the screw from rotating with the nut during tightening, realizing efficient one-side locking and improving assembly efficiency in narrow spaces. The smooth round head has no sharp edges, avoiding scratches on materials or workers, making it suitable for exposed installation.
With colored zinc plating (yellow zinc) surface treatment, it presents a bright golden appearance, delivering excellent corrosion resistance with 48-120 hours salt spray test, and complies with RoHS environmental standards. Self-tapping threads are optional for soft materials like wood and plastic, no pre-tapping needed.
Made of high-quality carbon steel (10#, 45#, 35K) or alloy steel (10B21, SCM435), it provides strength grades from 4.8 to 10.9, suitable for both general and heavy-duty applications. It is widely used in furniture manufacturing, architectural hardware, mechanical equipment, vehicle assembly, and outdoor facilities.
